Yarrambat Junior Football Club Needs Your Help. Currently we are unable to hold games at night due to very poor lighting (council / league sanctioned); night time training is also limited due to bad visibility during cold, dark & frosty nights. Our oval is used by many local schools & clubs with over 500 kids using facilities each week during season 2018. The light restrictions also places added pressure on the club’s ability to create extra revenue for other facility improvements & upgrades eg, bigger and more functional kitchen, proper male & female club rooms and bathrooms.
As a result, YJFC has signed up to the State Government run Pick My Project Scheme where we can hopefully be awarded a grant to fund our desperately needed lighting upgrade.

Please click on the attached link for our project named “community lighting upgrade”, register and select us as one of the 3 local community projects (once you short list 3 projects you can formally submit your votes). Voting is quick and simple, and open only until 5pm next Monday 17th September.
